Course Overview

Our courses have been specially designed by experts to ensure that every minute counts in the classroom. We have three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. You will take a level test when enrolling to place you in the correct group and ensure you make the most of your stay with us.

We are strong believers in communicative and dynamic classes. You won't spend hours studying the difference between 'ser' and 'estar'. Instead, you will speak in Spanish from the first moment.

You will learn, real-life, practical Spanish which will enable you to not only manage, but flourish, during our excursions when chatting with locals.

Roleplays, discussions, presentations and debates will form a significant part of your time in the classroom, ensuring that you leave Spanish Steps with a new-found confidence and motivation - ready to put into practice what we study in the classroom.

Our teachers are native Spanish teachers who can explain ideas and concepts in English, if necessary, though the classes will be conducted in Spanish.

A Typical Day

09:00 Start the day with a traditional Spanish breakfast of toast, coffee and juice in a local café.

10:00 Classes begin with one of our native Spanish teachers, finishing for lunch at 14:00. A fifteen-minute break at 12:00 will give you an opportunity to grab a coffee or compare notes with your classmates.

14:00 We pause for lunch in one of Morata's many excellent restaurants. Try a typical 'Menu del día' to fuel yourself for the afternoon's activities.

16:00 After a couple of hours of study time (or maybe a siesta!) the evening's activities will begin. These could be a trip to a neighbouring village, a flamenco night in Madrid, wine tasting, walks in the local countryside and many more activities - all in Spanish, of course!
